Not sure what to say?

David- Forever in our memories.

I often think (fondly) of David and Karen when passing their flat in Edinburgh, and the humorous discussion that resulted after David bought this stain glass window and the door, neither of which were remotely near the size of the available hole.

Still think of you dear friend x

I often think of you dear friend, you´re cheery face, your kindness and humour! I loved it when you guys would come to visit, and I´d listen to you playing your bagpipes on the shore or in the garden. Happy times indeed! We miss you!

I was a student of David's in the late 1990s in the ADP program at Vermont College. It is because of David and one or two other wonderful professors in ADP that I have always considered my four years at ADP in Brattleboro to be a highlight of my life. What a smart, sincere, compassionate, fun, and talented man we have lost. I've kept up with David now and then since graduation, and he has always been a kind mentor. I wish his family and friends the peace that I know David would want you...

It was with a deep sense of shock and sorrow that I learned of David's passing. I say that because I have always thought of David as rather larger than life....he was such a gifted human being and had a wealth of knowledge that was staggering. David was my professor and guide during my Norwich College days...and was the biggest reason for my success there. I will forever remember the sound and sight of him piping us down the aisle at graduation....and all the wonderful memories of his humor...

To have held their whispers,
And come to know,
The language of the stones,
Is to truly understand their song,
That others only dream.
A true privilege indeed my friend,
To have shared that song with you.

Travel well my Friend,... my Brother.

Sincerest and heart felt Condolences to the entire family.

I am very saddened to hear of David's death. My deepest sincere condolences to Karen and Locklin, and David's entire family. I loved winter solstice- snowshoeing at sunset to the overlook of Lake Winipauket to ceremonially smoke kinnikinuk. David was so smart and wise; insightful and hysterical, and kind. My thoughts are with you.

Love and prayers to the family of David! Though the time spent at the Town Office with him does not compare to those closest to him, it was always a joy when he came in to give or receive information. He was pleasant and warm and always informative. Karen too was a delight when she came by. My husband and I extend our sincerest sympathy and sorrow for the families loss. Our family shares a very sad similar situation from years now past and have exerienced their families compasion and...
