David Stidham, 71, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center - Tupelo. He loved music and played instruments like the guitar, piano, and harmonica. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Monday, December 14 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen, officiated by Dr. Kara Blackard and Bro. Jimmy Daniel. Interment will follow in Rowland Mills Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 1 son – Ricky Stidham of Burnsville, MS; 1 daughter – Deborah Lovelace (Ricky) of Burnsville, MS; 3 sisters – Louise Potts of Burnsville, MS; Rita McCoy (James) of Iuka, MS; and Nita Calton of Iuka, MS; 2 grandchildren – Kelly Bennett (Chad) of Tishomingo, MS and Bethany Lovelace of Burnsville, MS; and 2 great grandchildren – Madison Bennett and McKinley Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents, Luchion and Verna Stidham; a brother, George Stidham; and a sister, Ramona South.
