Not sure what to say?

Dave will be missed very much by his fellow golfing friends at Elm Crest Country Club in East Longmeadow. I for one have played many rounds of golf with Dave and I will surely miss him on the fairways. My prayers go with you Dave and someday we'll tee off again together.

Dottie, Sharon and Diane, and your families. What is there to say except that we loved your Dad so much, especially his sense of humor. The smiles on our faces will remain when we think of David and all of our happy and fun memories. He was one great guy!. Our love to you all. Dick and Gayle Powell

Mrs. Stockwell, Sharon and Diane,
I will always remember your dad's fantastic sense of humor and of course the legend he leaves behind as one of the best lacrosse coaches Longmeadow has ever seen. As you know, my sons are lacrosse players, and rest assured, I have shared with them over the years all the wonderful stories of the the lacrosse dynasty Stocky ruled over during his years as head coach at LHS. He was just one heck of a great guy! All my love to you!

Dotty Sharon and Diane,
I was so sorry to hear that Dave has passed. A true friend to everyone in the Kane family, a great coach, and wonderful person.I will keep him in my heart.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to you all.

Love Kim Kane Arnold

Dear Dot and family:
Please accept our sincere and deepest sympathy for your loss. Dave, or "Stocky" to us lacrosse players, was simply the best coach I ever had. Gruff and tough on the outside, but full of love and pride for each player on the inside, Stocky had that perfect coaching balance that few coaches ever achieve in a career. He was always about the players. He taught us how to win, and lose (though rarely) with grace. He taught us about the importance of hard work and...

Dear Dot, Diane and Sharon.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

Is it really 32 years since the Birthday Party at Plum Island. The highlights were the banner towed by the airplane, "Happy Birthday, Dave, Dave and Ed" And the great bear, David Stockwell swimming with all the kids, he being the biggest kid of all.

He was a wonderful person and a good friend.

To Dave's family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband and father. I taught math with Dave at Longmeadow High School and remember him as such a great supporter of kids. Your family will be in my prayers.
With sympathy,
Mary Ann Sedran

Dear Dottie & Family,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Dave was a great person. He always made me laugh and smile. It was always great seeing him @ the lax games. He will be missed by all. He touched everyone in a special way. I know the greens will not be the same for my Dad without him. Please accept my sincere condolances.

Deepest Sympathies,

Shannon Kane DePodesta

Dear Dorothy and Family,

Please accept my condolences on the death of David. I enjoyed working with him at Longmeadow High School. He had a healthy sense of humor; an admirable disrespect for authority and a sincere interest in educating young people. He was a colleague and a friend. He will be missed.
