I was deeply saddened to hear about Dave Stone's passing. We got acquainted through the ROS Quarterly where he placed an advertisement looking for recordings of reed organ music. I was able to help him with a CD and this led to well over a decade of wonderful friendship centered around the organs. Our early years were quite similar other than in different states. David was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville, where he had many friends, and was known for his quiet intelligence and his care and concern for others. We will miss him.
