Not sure what to say?

David was a kind gentleman who did not belittle me. His humble nature was an incredible gift to people like me. Given his amazing accomplishments it makes this modest man a true giant in my memory.

May your soul Rest In Peace. I worked at Commonfund for several years and it was a pleasure to have met you.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. David was a special kind of person and it was a pleasure to have known him.

We are so very sad to hear of David's passing. Landon , Landon & David you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. May he Rest In Peace.. A wonderful man. Many Blessings. Love Eileen & David

WOW, I found myself in a state of shock when I received word today of David's death. We were roommates three of our four years at Pomfret. That and the time we spent together on the wrestling team created memories that would quickly surface whenever we had a chance to visit at various reunions. My condolences to Landon and the rest of Dave's family.

A wonderful human being & one of the most accomplished investors in the world. David was our rock. He helped us all on the frontier of non traditional investing. We will miss you dearly.

David was my roommate at Yale for our entire four years as undergraduates. He worked with me in Hawaii in the summer of 1964, when he lived with my family. We lost contact after graduation but got back together in France and Italy in the mid-1990's and remained in touch since. I last saw him at our 50th reunion in 2017. David was a gracious, charming gentleman and a good friend. We were shocked to learn of his passing this morning in the NYT. He is much missed.

To the entire Storrs Family. I was shocked and saddened to read in the NYT this morning about David's death. As one of Nick's best friends growing up in CSH and Pomfret, I ALWAYS knew David. He was charming, smart and a total joy. Probably last saw him at Frinnie's Memorial Service and he was exactly the same. What a wonderful obituary and tribute to a man who, obviously, lived his life to the fullest. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you...
