David Lee Straight Sr.

Just want to say that Dave was respected as a QAE for our TARS program. He knew his stuff-you couldn't pull the wool over his eyes. Just want to convey my condolences.

I first met Dave at Wallace AS in 1985. I knew at once he was one of the food guys. We kept in touch over the years and he attended my retirement in 2012. I saw he was not getting around too good then, but he attended. That's the kind of guy I knew him to be, but his family already knew that so very well. I shall miss my friend. Condolences to the family, I know your hearts are breaking.

To the Straight Children:

Deb and I, remember the many evenings spent playing games while stationed at Clark AB when we lived there on DAU Ave. from Sep 1979 - Sep 1982 and then again when we were stationed there from June 1985 - June 1988. I worked with David at Wallace Air Station in the Philippines 1985-1986 and again 1987-1989. He was always a fun guy to work with. I especially enjoyed being his teammate on the Tired Tigers (Radar Maintenance) softball team. Our win/loss record wasn't so good even though Dave often sent one over the fence.
