Not sure what to say?

Dear Elaine, We were so sorry to hear of Pete´s passing. He fought a long hard battle with you at his side. Sending our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Duane and Kay

I am so sorry. Loosing my last uncle is very hard. He was a great guy.

Our best memories of Pete were from younger days! He and our dad, George Achenbach, were good friends and their "man hang out" was the Rod & Gun Club. Friendships grew in that place for the members and for the community. There were great events throughout the year and memories of the great men who made them happen. Thanks Pete for being a part of it all. Blessings and comfort to the family ... hold on to the good memories for "To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die." Love from...

I am very sad to learn of the passing of Pete. My fond memories started back in the late 1950's with the ball club B.E.Y.C. For me Pete became a staple personality at all Plainfield Township events. I enjoyed his humor and chatting with him very much. Those memories will last my remaining lifetime.

My grandfather was the best grandfather a granddaughter could have teaching me how to fish and hang out with. I love him buches and will miss him tremendously love you pap fly high with the angels ❤ Michelle

Lots of fond memories of Uncle Pete taking care of us young girls when we visited. Loved how well he kept the creek ready for us to enjoy and lifeguarded as we swam. It was a nice walk for Barbara and me so we visited often in the summer.

Pete,
Thank You for Your service to our country.

God Bless You!
God be with your family!

Sincerely,
A Grateful American

Pete, rest in peace my friend. From my school days and especially my teenage years you were like a second father and I will always remember how welcoming you and Elaine were to me. Your work at the church was invaluable, thanks for all you did, there and elsewhere.
Glenn, so sorry for your loss. Please share my condolences with Cheryl and Jeff and give your mom a hug from me. Prayers for all of you.

Pete, the Go To Guy at church for many many years. Always had time for us. RIP my friend. God Bless. Elaine and family, sorry for your loss.
