As a young girl, I never understood the tremendous military achievements of my uncle, Dave Stump. I remember a few small framed photos of him displayed on the wall, downstairs in his home. I asked my mother "what is uncle Dave doing in those pictures?" my mother replied "these are photos of your uncle during military training" No formal uniforms or medals displayed, just a few personal, humble photos of the man I knew as my uncle Dave; the tough and sometimes stern...

Geri and Family, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Dave. My Deepest Symphony to all of you. Dave was a great guy and I'm honored to have known him. He was a very good friend to my husband Bill Robinette and was there to help me through his passing many years ago. I will always remember the good times with Vietnam Now. I will keep you all in my prayers.

dave stump was a great man,if you need help he was there.no questions ask. he loved his family so much.he also loved his grandkids,they were his life.seems like yesterday that we just met,but its been almost 8 amazing years,that me and my daughter came into his life,and i am honor to say he was truly amazon guy,that we are going to miss terrible. darlene stump(daughter in law)
