David Olaf Sundal

David was a generous gentleman, always willing to give his time to ensure other researchers got their historical facts straight. I could have listened to his oral telling of local history for hours, and in fact I did. I feel fortunate to have known him.

David was an amazing man and a incredible soul. I met him many years ago during the early years of Church of the Nativity. I was blessed to know him for many years, he will be missed.

David was a fellow communicate at Nativity, best of all a friend. He gave me an historical profile of the city of Guelph, Ontario where we moved four years ago. Rest in peace and delight, my friend.

David was one of the most respected men in our local historical circles. As a fellow writer and historian, I always deferred to David was the authoritarian on local history. He will be missed for his kindness and knowledge as well as his willingness to participate and share. He was a true treasure.
