I just learn of David´s passing, and it saddens me immensely. It had been years since we last talked (I left the Chicago area in 1992) but I´ve always considered David one of my best friends. I´ll never forget going on vacation with David to Arizona. It was the first time David had ever flown. The shuttle Columbia exploded shortly after its take off and just before we boarded our flight.
