Not sure what to say?

Kristin & Jennifer: I just learned from another Sun colleague that your dad passed away. So sorry to hear about that. We were on the same team from 1999 to about 2004. I made a few trips to Knoxville (I live in Atlanta) and he showed me around town, and we spent a few hours on his amazing dock just relaxing. We shared the love of cycling, I remember when he got is first custom rig (from TX I think), we always discussed riding together, but never did. We lost touch a few years after Sun....

Kristin and Jennifer: I just learned from the ATO newsletter (Sept. 2017 issue) that you Dad passed away. David and I were very close at Tennessee and shared many wonderful times. Sadly, when I graduated from UT, we lost contact, much to my sorrow. I remember, however, that one of the happiest times of his life (probably #1 for sure) was when his precious daughters Jennifer and Kristin came into this world; I was there with David and your mother when you were christened. You may still have...

Kristen, I'm so sorry about your dad. My heart goes out to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

We are so very sorry for your lose. Our prays are with your family.

David was fiercely competitive and even more fiercely compassionate...no matter how far ahead he rode, he always came back for those left behind. Speaking from personal experience...sometimes very far behind.

Dear Kristen and Jennifer, Mike and I want to tell you how very sorry we are about the death of your father. I know you will miss him dearly as he was such a big part of your life. Just know that Mike and I are keeping both of you in our thoughts and prayers. We love you both.
