Dear Switzer Family:

I had the pleasure of knowing Dave. God, what a warm guy! The following is what I posted on our NTE '74 website about Dave. I send you my deepest condolences.

I always saw Dave as a guy who truly, truly, marched to the beat of his own drummer. I also saw something else: I guy whom people from all spectrums liked, and wanted to know. We all had our own crowd and type, be it an academic-ish crowd, athletic, performing...

Dave was a great neighbor and friend. We enjoyed talking to him when he walked by our home.
We will truly miss him.

Thinking of the family and wishing them comfort and peace

To my good friend and confidant you will be missed by me and many many friends. We had a lot of yucks on the golf course this last summer and looking forward to share some of our good times with our friends.
