David E. Switzer

Dave made my life secure, steady and absolutely wonderful. He was a good, good man. I will miss him always.

Dave was a terrific professor. He was a great friend to many umpires and professors. His students learned well because of Dave Switzer´s lectures. His passing is a significant loss for his students and colleagues. He was a role model for many both in the classroom and on the diamond. His death is a significant loss for Ft. Wayne.

I am so sorry to hear of Dave´s passing. He was an excellent professor and dedicated chair of the department. He will be missed.

It was a pleasure to have worked with you officiating sports events for over 40 years. You will be missed.

Dave was a generous and life loving individual. He will be missed.
