Not sure what to say?

I can still hear us singing "Ricky Don't lose that number" while sitting in the boat with the lines down waiting for a fish to strike. I also remember the many card and other games we would play at night. Most remembered was a game of Password where I gave the clue "Defishent" and he responded with the right response, "Debate". After all you can't do the fishing without the bait. It was just that kind of friendship where we knew each other so well. Then there was the annual "Salmon Derby"...

Karen & family, I just heard of Kirby's passing. He may be gone from your sightbut no from your hearts. He was aways fun to talk to and listen to his stories. He can now join the rest of his firefighter brothers again.

Amy,we´re sorry to hear you lost your dad. Dan and Dale Balavitch

One of the older guys I looked up to growing up in Bluffton. Always had a big smile. So long, Kirb. It was an honor to have known you.

Karen, David and Amy I was sad to hear about Kirby passing on to his next adventure. We would talk when he was patrolling the neighborhood in his scooter about how life gives you a bunch of lemons. The only thing you can do he would say is make lemonade or you just got a bunch of spoiled lemons. Kirby went with the flow and will be remembered as a great guy and a friend. May God bless his soul.

Dave you always be remembered as a great guy! RIP

Karen and family, so very sorry to learn of Kirby's passing. Keeping you all in my prayers
