Dear Ruth and family,
I am sorry for your loss. Dave was a fine teacher and family man. He and Dale were colleagues at Pioneer. I am sorry we were not able to attend his memorial service. Marilyn Larson

I was so sorry to hear about David's death. I know he was a great father and husband. I'm thinking of the Tabler family. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I'm grateful for Mr. Tabler's contribution to the Humanities program at Pioneer as far back as 1978. Thank you for making a learning opportunity that rich even possible.

So sorry to hear a fine teacher and good neighbor has sailed on. Ruth, please accept our deepest condolences, from the Sorensen family.

Dave was one of the main reasons that Pioneer's English Department and its Humanities program were so highly praised and regarded . He was also a devoted husband and father. I counted him on him as a long time friend as well as teaching colleague. So sorry that I cannot be there to give you a hug, Ruth.

Ruth, I am truly sorry to hear of David's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

So deeply sorry about your loss.thougths and words of comfort in this time of difficulty.

I learned how to teach high school from David Tabler as his student teacher in the Humanities program at Ann Arbor High school . This was during the 1964-1965 school year. I am saddened to learn of his passing. He was a caring man and an excellent teacher of would-be teachers.

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. My condolences, Ruth, to you and the family . We started at Ann Arbor High School the same year. He was a wonderful colleague, teacher, and chairperson of Humanities and English. He was always willing to share his knowledge, teaching methods, and materials with new teachers. He was a great teacher and a source of inspiration to others.
