I just happened across this page... I hadn't seen Dave since we worked together many, many years ago. He was terrific, as a guy, as a musician. I have nothing but fond memories of him. My most sincere condolences to his family.

I feel I must make a special mention to my friend Dominic Sarno, Mayor of Springfield, MA. Inspiration was what you portrayed when we met at Kiley Junior High. I always looked up to you being a small fellow with little motivations but one day you watched me catch my first football and gave me great words of encouragement. I worked with Dave many years ago. He was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed our conversations about music and his stories of playing the drums. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to all of his family.
