David Richardson TAPLIN

Living across the country from Tucson for many years, I just now heard this sad news. Dave was one of the funniest and brightest people I ever met. His big heart and sharp wit made for a lot of color and shade at Larson. Never met a pair of shorts he didn´t like, whether 110 degrees in summer or 20 desert degrees on a winter morning. He just said no to slacks. Belated condolences to lovely Natasha and his whole family. RIP big guy. Definitely gone too soon.

I just found out about this and am still stunned.
God tossed the plans away after he made old Tappy.
Dave was a great friend and really wonderful to be with,his personality was incandescent at any time. His wash parties are legendary. The world he loved is still here for us to enjoy but will never be quite the same without him in it.You will be profoundly missed every time I think of you.

It has been my privilege to cut David's hair for the last 10 years. The last few years have been very difficult for David so many of my haircuts and shaves had to be done at David's home. We shared a lot over the years and no matter how bad David felt he always asked about my family and my co-workers!!! The last time I was with David was January 23rd and he was hoping to get well enough to come and see my new shop!! God bless my brother!!!!

This was a man who could walk in a room and shut it down with his looks alone.But,never played on them.He was kind and you always felt he was listening.We met him in the seventies.May your soul rest in peace
