I never met Coach Taylor, but when I was coaching varsity football I use to call him for his thoughts on attacking certain defenses. A coach of his statue was always willing to share his knowledge with me being a novice coach. I will forever be grateful for him. RIP in peace Coach Taylor.

My condolences to Jeff, Mitzi, family and closest friends. It was truly a blessing and an honor to play for him. To play on that 1986 title team with those guys, to be part of that offensive line nicknamed "the wall", and again for coach Taylor and the rest of the coaching staff; I have so many wonderful memories and such gratitude for having been a part. Thank you for the lessons coach. Rest in peace.
