Not sure what to say?

On the coming anniversary of your passing David, I want to acknowledge how your family is honoring you each and every day. You are the patriarch of a beautiful Tayman "bunch". You are loved forever and left your indelible mark on all of us, especially your children and grandchildren.

Dearest April, Jackie, Elizabeth, et.al Thinking of Dad always, often and this time of year. David's name is a blessing and we hold him tight in our hearts always. With great love, Leslie Topus

Dear April, Elizabeth, Jackie and family, David was such a revered member of our community plus a damn good friend to all of us who knew him. What an incredible man! Funny, loving, caring,.. I could go on with every adjective that is good and special. David leaves this legacy for us to carry on in his name, we will, of course. His infectious laugh and beautiful smile is imbedded in our hearts. David was loved by many, long and wide. I am holding all your hearts in mine. I wish you peace and...

It took my breath away when I read this. Sympathy to all his family. May your happy memories comfort you. I was friendly with his sister, Sharon, from elementary school, was in her wedding, and spent time when our children were young. David was one of the really nice guys. So sorry for your loss.

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Tayman's passing - he was my cats' vet for a time when I had an apartment in Columbia. Such a kind, gentle man. April, I used to work with you at MSA long ago - I'm sending you and your family my deepest sympathies.

I will always remember how kind Dr. Tayman was when my sister´s dog died unexpectedly after he had performed surgery on her in 1984. He was as heartbroken as we were and he cried right along with us. My condolences to his family.

I lived in Columbia in the mid `80s, right around the corner from Columbia Animal Hospital. Dr. Tayman was a wonderful vet for my cats, and I was sad that I was losing my vet when I left Columbia and moved to Baltimore to get married. As I read of his passing in the Sun today, I realized that he and my husband of blessed memory were both graduates of City College the same year. The two of them, of course, never met as adults, but it touched me that two special men in my life also had a...

Very sad to hear of David's passing. Went "steady" with David throughout high school. Was a wonderfully kind person then and in later years when I reached out to him around the care of my pets.

I´m so sorry to hear of David´s passing. I was one of his classmates at MSU in the 60´s. He made school more interesting and certainly more fun. . Condolences to his family and friends...
