I am the medic who held his hand and stayed with him the night he passed. Something about him touched my heart forever. He is greatly missed. I had a memorial bracelet made in his honor and actually gave it to Dierks Bentley at a USO concert he gave on the Fourth of July at Ft Hood, Texas a few years back. He was speechless. Never Forgotten! God Bless his family and fellow "Green Berets".

Tex I miss u buddy we went to boot camp together were sent to Aco 2/1 together to the scouts together .I remember u telling me as my team leader that u wanted me to stay in the army to deploy to Iraq .I didn't and u went to the special forces.
