My sympathies go out to you Cindy, John and Nick. I am truly saddened but I know Dave is in a better place now, with his Father in Heaven. We served together at FTC Norfolk 2001-4 time period and what I remember is his positive attitude and the way he encouraged me to advance. He always left me feeling better about myself after talking with him. I pray I might be able to be more like him.

My Sincere Sympathy goes out to the Thompson Family. A wonderful soul will be truly missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Dave. I will always cherish memories of him from when I was a young girl. One that sticks out in my mind is that he was my comforter and friend when I was homesick at camp. An encourager and kind man; sweet and genuine. I will miss him.

I didn't know Dave for very long, only about a year, but I noticed that he had a quiet strength and when he became ill it was almost hard to tell. It was obvious that he adored his family; he kept their photos prominently around his desk along with his service plaques and things that made him happy. I will miss him.

Dave always had a smile and warm word for me. I am so glad that I have had the privilege of knowing him and your whole family these past 9 years. There are so many memories from church, Camp Rudolph, BYKOTA's, potlucks at the Wolf's and so many more. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I'm so glad that the boys have been able to have time with you. I know that they are a blessing to you. I know that Dave is enjoying his new body in that new home that God had waiting for him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I knew Dave for a short time while working at MARMC with him. He impressed me as being very dedicated to his family and his work. He kept them in there proper order as he would say; God, Family and Country. He ws fun to be around and always positive. Unfortunately Great Men are needed in heaven to do our Father's work. Apparently God needed him now though
we will all miss him. May the family understand that this not the last time you will be with him for he is building a mansion for you...
