Dear Barb and kids,
I'll always remember Dave in the context of Scouting,he was a great Cub leader and enjoyed all the chaos of boys in the woods as well as the monthly Pack meetings.He also knew how to ride herd on unruly parents when he was coaching Jane's soccer team. I had a good laugh listening to him tell about Hawkeye protesters spilling over the freeway in Iowa City during the early 70's. We will all miss him a lot...

I know you through your daughter, Elizabeth. never have i met a stronger, more loving community builder than her. your strength of character radiates in her and the family. thank you for your time on this earth and all you helped create:) may the blessings be received by all and continue to support your family and your soul. - annie jordan (Vermont)

I am glad that Marty emailed me this news: even though it is sad, yet it reminds me of how valuable Dave's life and your life are to me after all these years.
