Not sure what to say?

I never laid eyes on Dave Tinder but we corresponded for many years, sharing our love of historic photographs. He was so sure that i would finish my book on Alabama photographers and get it published, that he made me sure. And lo and behold, in 2017 it was published. Now Alabama is a small state with a lot of poor people and not much spare cash, but his encouragement made me go that extra mile to winkle out the photos and the photographers. Davd was very encouraging in every letter we exchanged. He and his friends sent me Alabama photographs that came their way in Michigan (not many), and I...

He was my dad's rock and I hope through memories ..he continues to be...
