David Tipton passed away in Bristol, Virginia. The obituary was featured in Bristol Herald Courier on December 19, 2006.
Mr. Tipton was a wonderful teacher, band director and person. Most of all, he was a true friend.
My heart, along with so many others, is broken at this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with Angie and her family. May the memories of this sweet man and his sweet music surround you and bring you peace.
