Read MoreI guess you get busy in life and I´m not on social media. But I was thinking tonight of my favorite teacher at East Jr High - Mr Tobin. He was my social studies teacher and really loved him. He cared about my studies and helped me with physical fitness. He was funny, strong, smart, just a real man and he made a difference to me. I am sorry for your loss. He was my favorite teacher. RH

Dave was one of my teachers at East Junior High School in 1968. He was an athletic guy and was liked by all the school athletes. I always got along with him! He used to work out in the weight room after school sometimes, and he could bench press some serious weight!! You will be missed my friend! You are in God's hands now! RIP

Terry,David Charles, and Dax we are sorry for your loss. We have such fond memories of Dave.
In the summer he was always there for you boys at the swim meets. Oh What fun we had with him enjoying a beer or two up on the hill at Ferguson Pool.
He was a fun loving man everyone was his friend.

Mr. Tobin was a great teacher who cared about his students. He wanted us to learn and do well in life. I had him for 9th grade Civics and we applied for our Social Security cards in his class. I pray God lifts him up and honors him for the work he did on earth. Prayers for the family as they morn the loss of this great teacher.
