TODD, David L. - Of Flint, age 59, died Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. Funeral service will be held at 12PM Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jim Reid officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation 1-4 and 6-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home. David was born in Flint, Michigan on April 18, 1948 and was a resident of the Flint area and Coldwater for the past several years. Surviving are daughter, Erin of Gaylord; father, Leon of Flint; brother, Mark and wife Bonnie of Flint; niece and nephews, Tara, Michael and William. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine. My husband and I are very sorry to hear of David's death. He lived next door to my mom, Elfriede. When he would come home from Coldwater, he always called her and they would sit and have tea together. They've occasionally watched racing and movies together. He always went over for more tea before leaving town to go back to work. He will be sorely missed.

I was saddened to hear of David's death. We lived across from the family on Independence Drive in the fifties and he was such a nice kid then; the whole family was very special. My prayers go out to the family.
