Not sure what to say?

Mr Torrence taught me that in art there is always a reason. Many decades later, I relearned that concept & applied it to my interior design studies. You were quite the teacher & I will miss your teachings. Thank you !

I was an art student at the Sidney middle school under Mr. Torrence back in the 60s. I also am an artist and he left a great impression on me in the world of art. What he taught me was compassion kindness and hope for whatever I was going through as a young girl. He is a true legacy and will never forget his wisdom. I left my hometown as a young girl but never forgot these great memories. It may seem a little late to write this but nevertheless here I am...

I was disheartened to hear of Mr Torrence's passing. I still use much of the knowledge he taught in art class. It was one of my favorite classes. Travel well in your journey & peace amongst your family. A loss indeed. Thank you Mr Torrence!

Heather, Ruth, Ben and family, so very sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences to the Torrence family. Sorry for your loss.

I didn't know Dave was still around. He was a family friend. He and Ruth attended the same church as my family. They lived a block away from my family and I remember their little teardrop trailer that they took everywhere. I also remember Heather and Ben. I never took his art classes, but I appreciated the work he did. He inspired my black and white photography. I have two of his watercolors and a black and white photograph proudly displayed in my living room.

My sincere condolences. Ruth, I pray you are doing okay.

Dave was a very benefical member and supporter of the MonDak Heritage Center. The community of Sidney was very blessed to have Dave involved in so many aspects. Prayers go out to Ruth, Heather and Ben.

Dear Ruth and family, Deepest condolences to you and your family in the loss of Dave. We worked together at Sidney High School and I always admired his talent.
