David---you brought joy to our family...we miss you you were a good person with a good soul Love, Mom and Dad

David...we think of you often! Your foster siblings loved you so much! Your sense of humor was the best! We wish we could still enjoy time with you...Mom

David was a hero to me. I looked up to him for his strength and his ability to make anyone smile even on the hardest days. He was very much a brother figure to me and a very loving person. I will never forget the days he would come to see me and say "hows my wife?". I will miss him more than anything. I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to him, but I know he knows that I miss him and is smiling down on all of us. I'll always miss you David, you will always be in my heart. God Bless you and...

Dear Rene & Joan, It is with sadness I heard of the loss of your son, David. Although I never knew him, I know the kind of parents you were to him. He was fortunate to have had you and your family in his life, as I am sure you feel fortunate as well to have had him in yours. We are who we are due to the people who cross our paths. I remember ours crossing many years ago and know I am the better for it. When I saw your names in David's obituary, I wanted to let you know you were being thought...

I am so sorry to heard about David Torres's death. We dont know who is he. I know u (Rene and Joan) feel David like ur son, not as a foster son. U have our deepest sympathy. We'll pray for yall.

I can't believe this news. I've known David Torres since I was young at Austine School. Now he is gone. He will be part of my heart forever. I will never forget who he is and how fun guy he can be.

I WILL REMEMBER DAVID T. AS FUNNY AND FRIENDLY PERSON-READY TO SMILE FOR OTHER. EVERY TIME WHEN I SAW HIM, HE WOULD TALK ABOUT HIS WONDERFUL MEMORY WITH HIS FOSTER PARENTS, RENE/JOAN AND VERMONT.

I went to Austine School with David and we were good friends. He was a very interesting and kind person. He was not perfect, but he cared for people more than they cared for him. I lost touch with him over 4 years ago and never got to say goodbye. At least I have the memories and he did not die in vain. He touched the lives of people who he interacted with..whether they knew it or not. You will will be missed David.
