Not sure what to say?

Linda, Lianne & Denyse; My condolences are expressed to you at your loss of David, a wonderful husband, father & grandfather. During my time in Caledon Dave was always a inspiration and a great pleasure to have known. He always led by example and shared his life with others to their benifit. I will remember Dave for the great times with Club Caledon, Canoe Trips, and Broom Ball and for being a great Mate.

I remember Dave as a funny, caring, and truly sincere family man. He always encouraged me to take on new challenges. Like the 2008 Youth Career Awareness Fair with Aimee Capozzi. He was certainly unique in the way he let us all grow as individuals.
We often talked about our families and family came first. When my son went to Afghanistan he was there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on.
But oh how he used to tease me!! Countless times he would say, “Mary! Can I get you a...

Dave, I will miss you dearly for many reasons. I respect and admired you as a True Leader. Someone who sees beyond the person, but rather the qualities and potential in individuals and you were willing to give them a chance to excel and be their best. You gave me that chance when you ask me to open General Interest Night School at Fletcher's Meadow SS and when you agreed to give myself and Linda the opportunity to switch roles in TCET. My sincere condolences to the family, may God comfort...

Mr Turner was such a great man! I remember meeting him for the first when he came to Applewood to recruit us for the International Co-Op Program at North Park! When I made the transfer to North Park to join the co-op, he was so helpful with all the little details. Walking around the school he was always a smiling face and was an excellent advocate for his students. He really did have that sparkle in his eyes and you could tell that teaching was his passion! My heart and prayers go out to his...

David James Turner,

My first meeting You in your TCET, Mississauga was on 2005. You had approved my company working as your new agent in VietNam. That was a beginning of a truly friendship and loved from all Vietnamese students …

I’ve just met you in Mississauga on Oct.7th 2011 before I came back home in VietNam ! I will always remember with a smile from Dave, today I can not believe that was last time I can shake your hand Dave…

You were loved and cherished...

Dave, I will definitely miss you, you were one of the very few Managers that I looked up to, you were kind, friendly and above all you showed staff that you really care. I will never forget your sense of humour, your saying "Did you hear the good news" when you were going on holidays. That has stuck with me for many years and I find myself using it when I am going on holidays too and my colleagues think it's very funny and I tell them who I got it from. My condolences to your wife and family...

Denyse, Linda, Lianne and to the rest of your family, we are deeply saddened that such a wonderful and caring man has been taken away from your family. Dave was positive and such a strong fighter. He loved you all and was so proud of his children and grandchildren. We will remember Dave and all of the memories of his journey in life that Denyse has shared with us.
Love your friends,

It is with sadness that we at AFS Interculture Canada received the news of Dave's passing, a great friend to AFS and champion of the North Park International CO-OP program. His commitment to International exchanges and education was inspiring. AFS Canada was lucky to have Dave in our corner. He will be missed by the entire AFS family. Our deepest condolences go to his family.

Sincerely,

Dave was a mentor and great friend. A class act with a twinkle in his eye.

A great story teller, humorist, humble and caring gentleman.

It was my great honour to work with Dave at TCET. He was always approachable, offering sound advice and direction.

When Dave smiled with that “Cheshire Cat” smile you knew there was a good story coming..or payback as he loved a great joke.

Dave and I would meet at Easterbrooks in Burlington to share stories of our...
