I worked with Dave as his Asst Mgr at Safeway on Adams Ave and the again at Vons in Rancho San Diego . My wife Kathy worked for him in Rancho San Diego after i left. We both loved working with Dave and admired his professionalism and kindness. Not only a boss, but a great friend. We will miss you Dave.

Dave was a wonderful manager. It was a joy to work for him. I was lucky enough to work for him at several different stores. He had a great sense of humor. He loved to tell stories. So sad that he left this world so young.

I worked with Dave at Safeway and recently reconnected with him on Facebook. I was so happy to have found him, remembering what a kind friend he was for the 12 years I knew him. He always had a smile for everyone and a wonderful sense of humor. He had a warmth that exuded from the sparkle in his eyes. I will always remember him in this way.
