UDELL, DAVID A., , 68 passed away into God's loving arms on Sept. 21, 2012. He was born in Conneaut, Ohio on August 20, 1944. He fought a courageous battle from Mesothelioma Lung Cancer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on the USS O'Hare Destroyer. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Thelma Udell and brother Fred. Survived by his loving wife of 47 years Sylvia; daughter, Katie White (Richard) and the joy of his life grandson, Joshua; three sisters, Carolyn Salyer, Marilyn Hyatt (Ken), Judy Meeks (John), many nieces and nephews. Dave loved spending time with family, fishing, golfing and flying remote control airplanes. Memorial Service to be held on September 29 at 1 PM at Willow Creek Church, 4725 East Lake Drive, Winter Springs, FL 32798. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of the Comforter at 595 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 or to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation;

Syl - You were so blessed to be married to your best friend and soul mate. What a tremendous loss. Please know that you are loved so very much. You and the family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for some of our best holiday memories, and always making us feel at home, in your home. We are so grateful to have known you Uncle Dave, and thank you for taking such good care of our sweet Sylvia, and Katie & Josh, and all of The Brownings. We will miss you, but you will always remain in our hearts.

Sylvia, David had to be a special man, because you picked him as your life love. He will be so missed but will live on thru you and your family and that new little grandchild. We love you very much and will miss Dave so much.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.
