I drive by your sign on Cactus every single day, and even though I never met you, I thank you for your sacrifice. I live near the Cactus precinct and realize that all those men and women are taking the same risks you did each and every day. Thank you for showing what true service really is. I pray that your family has peace and comfort, all these years later. I am sure that it's still hard for them. You are a true hero sir.

I see the plaque on cactus road as I drive and i'm always reminded of that day. You are one of our many heroes who put their lives on the line everyday.
