David James Usavage was granted eternal rest on Dec. 31, 2023, after a valiant and hard fight with pancreatic cancer. He may have lost that battle, but his family has no doubt he won the war as his Savior said, "Well done, good and faithful servant," as He called him home .
It´s been a year since we lost a wonderful man ,uncle, brother and a great friend. We miss your Witt your stories but most of all we miss you.You are though of often till we meet again.

Amy, Eric, Jodi, I can imagine the grief you all feel at the passing of your Uncle. I am so so very sorry for your loss. I am also so overwhelmed with grief as well. As you know I have loved your Uncle always. I just saw him a few months ago. When I came to PA I always visited with him. We actually would have a joke about our hair growing back. Mine was growing back but his not so much. We were both going through chemo at the same time so we would talk about what was going on with each of us....

Mr U was one of the nicest people I had the pleasure of meeting. I enjoyed my chats with him and he always had time to stop and talk. He will be missed.

It's taken me a few days to be able to speak of Dave's passing.. Dave and I go way back...as he use to say " walking home together in second grade",which he so remembered all those yrs and told me all the time..
Dave was the best person to ever have as a lifetime friend...It still doesn't feel real that our conversations will be no more..
RIP my Dear Friend...You touched the hearts of so many people and left an everlasting love to all..
I will treasure our talks for ever..
Love to you...
