I knew the David and the band when I lived in Va back in the 70's and frequented the bar scene in Georgetown. I first saw them at the Bayou and immediately enjoyed their music and style. I also worked at the Bayou as well as the Crazy Horse and JJ's Apple Pie (across the street from the Cellar Door. David had an awesome voice. R.I.P. David!

My Brother, my partner in musical crimes, my teacher in so many ways, one of the greatest singers I've ever heard, a truly underrated guitarist.
We had some amazing times and made some wonderful music. I will always be grateful for that.
Hard to believe you're no longer a phone call away. I will miss knowing you are here. I'll see you again. I just know it.

David, thanks for hanging with Kenny when you lived with us. He liked when you sat around the table from him and talked about music. RIP Prayers to your family and friends, far and wide.
