David Joseph Valdez

David Joseph Valdez passed away November 25th 2012 in San Pedro at the age of 62. David was born February 15th 1950 and was a longshoreman and a Marine who served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Valdez; his children, Jennifer (Samuel), David (Nicole), Joseph (Yesenia), and Timothy; his father, Oscar Valdez; his grandchildren, Jake, Alec, Benjamin, Elena, Ryan, Samuel, and Sophia; three brothers, Robert, Thomas, and Matthew; two sisters, Ruth and Diane; and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, November 30th 2012, at McNerney's Mortuary at 570 W. 5th Street in San Pedro. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 1280 W. Santa Cruz Street in San Pedro.
