David Vallejos, a lifelong resident of Las Cruces, was called to heaven to be with our Lord on October 5, 2013. He entered into this world on January 12, 1983 in Las Cruces. David was a loving man, always smiling, laughing and making jokes at the perfect moment. He was the kind of person who could make you laugh even if you were having the worst day. David was a laborer, handyman and loved to fix things. As a child, David was constantly taking things apart to see how it worked, or how to fix it. He had a passion for the outdoors such as camping, fishing, rafting, and gardening. He always kept to himself informed of the events and people in his life. His children were his world and everything that he needed in his life. He would do anything for them. On the day his son was born, David asked if the hospital staff would make an ink footprint on the shirt that he wore. David was so excited and proud to be a father. Family and friends were important to him and at every opportunity, he would spend time outdoors with his family and children, especially with his brother, Daniel and lifelong best friend Tony Armendariz. David is survived by his wife, Jessica Vallejos of the family home; five children, Joeangel, Adrian, Dominic, Deanna and Alina Vallejos; his mother, Debbie Vallejos; a brother, Daniel Vallejos; two sisters, Zonya Buchanan and husband Joshua, Joann Misquez all of Las Cruces.
