I miss you so much David. Keep thinking of things I want to call you about...too late. Love to you and Miles, together again at last.

RIP David, great colleague and long-time friend. It was wonderful to see you begin what turned out to be a lifelong, loving relationship with Miles. And I'm only sorry that the last time I saw was on the sad occasion of your memorial for Miles here. It's been a long, strange trip, and it is hard to hear that bell tolling.

David left a lasting impression along with his partner, Miles when I met them. Very arty, creative, colorful, spirited and wonderful creatures of life. A donation to the Walter Anderson Museum of Art in Ocean Springs, MS has been named in David's name.

Wonderful David--we'll never forget your companionship, brilliance, and fabulous Chinese cooking at Princeton. You and Miles were one of the great couples of our generation. You will be together always in our hearts.
