Not sure what to say?

This entry is a year late as I just received the one year anniversary from Legacy and did not see the entry that I thought I made last year. Even though Vera and I attended the mass and the following luncheon last year, we would like to again convey to Julie and Dave´s family our condolences and prayers. I personally have great memories of Dave from the time we were both Deputy DA´s and throughout our judicial careers. The best were the sports we did together- baseball, tennis, golf and...

Sympathy's to Barbara Padmos and to David's his family. We attended church together and probably catechism classes in our younger years at Modesto Christian Reformed Church. Prayers of comfort to all! Barbara (Greydanus) Hollander

Dear Julie, I was so saddened to hear of David's passing. I have you in my thoughts and I will say a prayer for you and your family.

I worked 15 years in performing maintenance in buildings of Stanislaus County and the Courts was one of the buildings I took care of. Judge Vanderwall was always someone you could talk to, and he would listen. He will be missed.

Dear Barbara, Jennifer (Janie) & family Iam Kathy Sanders & my sister Claire & I are sending our condolences, so sorry to read about David´s passing, we haven´t seen him in sometime, but we sure have some good memories back in the day when our dads work togetherGreat neighborhood we lived in Love, Kathy & Claire

Treasured Tribute Wreath

My name is Lisa DeRuiter and I was Judge VanderWal´s court reporter for many years. We´re both Dutch and had a great relationship. Some of my favorite memories of him was when he looked at me in my spot in the courtroom with his bushy eyebrows going up and down. That meant he knew someone was lying. I´ll miss him dearly!

Our sincere condolences to the family. He was a very fine man and father.
