I knew Dave from his college days in Calgary. He and Dale became fast friends with the three other lads you see in this picture. Dave was so full of life and fun to be with. His quick smile, dimple, and wicked sense of humor kept us laughing through many a night. Unfortunately, more than 30 years have gone by since I've seen him. Although our friendship was relatively new, I considered David to be a good friend. David loved his family and he loved the Lord. What greater legacy can a man leave than that? He was a blessing to those around him and he will be missed by us all. I pray that the family heals quickly and that their pain turns to joy.
