To David's Family--
May God Bless you during this time. I knew him as one serious guitar player from the GCS days, but you knew him as a father, husband, and brother.

David,
You were a true American original and an inspiration to all musicians. You will be greatly missed!

David, you are always in my thoughts when play I with a “Wah” or a “Bow-Bow” at that, which was your favorite. We had so much fun, you taught me so much. So many good times on 5th Ave. You are forever Dynamite!

David you were such a part of my life growing up. I will always remember seeing you play at Keystone in Berkeley. And your music well it still resonates deep in my soul. You have a special place in my heart forever.
Sally...

We have had the privilege to have met David on our first trip to California in the summer of 2002. David was very friendly and talked extensively about his days with GCS. He will be honored and quoted in our upcoming book (www.slystonebook.com). Our condolences go out to David's family, friends and wider community.

"Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but rather by the moments that take our breath away." David took away the breath of everyone who ever heard him play. What a privilege to be at some of those jams. It's David's turn to solo, so... "Let him RIP".

In my experience harmonizing vocally with you… made me feel so proud that I could be apart of your music! I will miss you forever my little brother. And your music will always be in my soul…. I love you bro!
Love your sis,
Marge

RIP Uncle David... you are greatly loved and will be missed everyday.
XO

Summer said; "God needed an Angel to play and sing in his band." So he took my Uncle David because he was the best."
I'm really going to miss you Bro!
Love your sis,
Diana
