Note from Luccarelli and Skinner...
We have so many fond memories of Dave at Farley. It is difficult for us to imagine life without him and that he is no longer a phone call away. To our friend, Poncho Via...may you rest in peace.

Dave,
We lived on the same floor for 2 years, we got to know and care for each other. God Bless you.
Danny Shanley,CFMA '69

Dear David, We spent four years together in high school playing basketball and baseball, and marching on alot of Sat.'s with our M1's. Although I haven't been in touch in many years some bonds can never be broken Now that you are in Heaven my friend, save us a good spot. And if your family needs help down here we will find a way to help them. Until we meet again take care Fran Murray 1970

I met Dave when I began at Cardinal Farley in our sophmore year. Coming into a class that already had a year of knocking around together wasn’t easy. Dave, always a dynamic personality, didn’t take long to extend his friendship. Three short years later we graduated and I never saw Dave again. In that time together our class forged a brotherhood that continues 35 years later. I will always value that and the friendship he extended to a kid from Canada.

David,
Though we never really got a chance to get to know one another well, I always had alot of respect for you. I still consider it an honor to have helped to finish your home. June and Lou are two of my favorite people. I will pray for your family now that you are with the Lord. I trust you made it there! Thanks for looking out for my sister.

I have no words to express the grief that is in my heart.when we were all alot younger, david and I could not have been any closer. Louis & June always treated me like a second son. Those memories will stay with me forever. Rest well my friend.

may god keep the family in his arms and help you get through your loss. we will keep you in our prayers. love the dennis family

I will always remember Dave as a great athlete, a guy that liked life and to have a good time and one who kept things interesting and unexpected for us all while at and away from Cardinal Farley. I will miss him as a friend and may he rest in peace.

Hi Dave. I've prayed, and thought about you every day, for months. We have all been part of the "Farley Military Family" for almost 40 years, now. A special 'bond' that will never be broken, or die. As I've expressed to the 'fellas', we've just lost another key member of 'Our Family'. You will be missed, greatly. It's been my Honor to know you, and, all the other "Farley Friends", over the last 4 decades. Looking forward to seeing you, and John G., again, someday. Save me a seat, at the bar,...
