Dave Vitaz was the epitome of "cool" and a very classy gentleman; the kind of man I hope I'll be in my golden years. He was my boss for nearly 10 years during our shared time at the Lake County Board of Elections. I learned a lot from Dave. Dave was a friend and teammate since elementary school at Artemus Ward Elementary and was a close friend of my entire family. He was a Groomsman in my wedding and though we have been apart since I left for Vietnam, our memories together will always be with us. May God give comfort to you, Bev, and also to your family.
