Not sure what to say?

It's been 8 years today since you flew on ahead Bro and not a day goes by when the family doesn't miss you. But, we're all doing fine. Laura and Timmy are doing wonderful with their careers and Denise and Gail talk frequently. I miss our long talks on the phone (Allooo!!) quite a bit, but I'm still fighting the good fight. You, Dad and Mom hang in there and we'll all be along in God's good time. Take care and put in a good word for me, every little bit helps!

Dave you were always awesome. We all miss you so much. In loving memory. Nat and family

It's going on 7 years since Dave flew on ahead and I've missed him a great deal as have his wife Denise and two kids, Dr. Timmy Vorgias and Laura Vorgias-Bouwer. Dave impacted just about everyone in his life that way, his place in our memories remains large and significant. I knew him as a brother, but also a best friend. From the days we roomed together down at WMU to his final days he remained someone that I could always talk to-about things that were sometimes difficult to discuss with...

I meet Dave as a new hire at Eastern Air Lines in 1985. We were simulator partners in training on the Boeing 727 as Flight Engineers. Dave always had a great demeanor about him and willing to help anyone in need. We became friends and stayed in touch for many years. As Eastern was dismantled I was hired at Southwest Airlines and Dave at Northwest Airlines. He had a true passion for life, family and flying. God bless you Dave and family. Mark Montgomery.

Dave was my brother and best friend and I will miss him. Our family moved around a lot when we were kids so we were very close to each other and shared a lot of adventures and history. Dave was tall at 6' 4" and he used to borrow my clothes in High School-I still haven't forgotten how you stretched all my double-knit slacks out at the knees, Dave! Take care bro, I'll be along in a bit.

I remember in school Dave was kind, smart, and quiet with a nice smile! My condolences to Dave's family and friends.

Haven't seen Dave for years but was always such a sweet man. Denise and Dave lived by us in Rockford and would come to Sundaes At The Cottage. So sorry for his loss. He was such a nice man. My sympathies go out to Denise and the family.

I knew Dave through Delta/ Northwest and commuting to Detroit, and he was such a great person. He was always willing to go out of his way for anyone he met; including a fresh faced first officer who he'd just met! Dave went out of his way to help me get to work. I'll never forget it. Fly West, Dave!

Dave and Denise lived a few doors down from us when the kids were young. Couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. Timothy and my son great buddies in those days. My son remembers them fondly. Dave once took me, my son and Timothy flying in a tiny little 4 seater. What a wonderful giving person.
