Dear Bobbie and family
We wer saddened to hear of David's passing. We truly enjoyed our association with you both while Jon and David were on the symphony board. He was a gentleman. May you be comforted.

Dear Roberta,

We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of your beloved David and our dear friend for 50 years! We are especially grateful to him for his enthusiastic support for Cheng-Khee's artistic pursuits!

Though not with us physically, his rich legacy of graciousness, generosity, civility, kindness, and compassion for his fellow man will live forever in our hearts.

Life must go on, please do take care of yourself and family!

We deeply miss Dave on the board of directors at Sugarloaf: the North Shore Stewardship Association. His wise counsel and good company inspired us all to be active contributors of our time and talents. We wish his family our sincere sympathies and gratitude for the time we shared with him.

Dear Bob and family,

I am so sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful, exceptional man. My thoughts are with you. Anne Fisk (Pete's sister)

We didn't know Mr. Vose, but appreciate his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren in our neighborhood very much. Mr. Vose sounds like an amazing man and was no doubt a wonderful influence on our neighbors.
Our condolences, the Perkins Family

I knew Dave as a thoughtful and kind Sugarloaf board member and treasurer. He was always available to answer my questions and gave wonderful advice. As a member of the Duluth community, he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was a colleague of Dave for over forty years at UMD. We generally agreed on things but, sometimes, disagreed. However in all instances I was impressed by his integrity, his intelligence, his adherence to principal, and his concern for others, These same traits he carried to his board participation on the Sugarloaf Board of Directors on which I was privileged to serve with him. I will miss him greatly.

While I only met Mr. Vose once or twice, he was legend in the stories that Elisabeth regularly shared with me over 20+ years. I am so sorry for your loss.

Sincere condolences to the Vose family. David was an incredible man.
