Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear of David's passing. I first met him in my first grade class at Washington School. I haven't seen him since high school, but he was one of the nicest kids around and always had a smile on his face. My sympathies to his wife and sons. He has left this world too soon. Neither life nor death can separate us from the Love of God, even when life really is completely awful! I am so sorry for your families giant terrible loss! Our entire 4th Pres. Church in Chicago was holding Gretchen and your family in prayer. May God's enduring love carry through your struggles and wrap you in peace through the rage.

Sending love and prayers to the Wahl family. Hugs from Chicago, Gretchen! We all thought of you today.

Adrik, we are so sorry to hear about your Dad. Although I didn't know him except through you, Jamie always told us what fun he had at your house and what a great guy he was. Please extend our condolences to your Mom and brother as well. Your Dad and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave always gave off positive energy, and he was a pleasure and a joy to work with. He was one of the most patient and kind people I've ever met. I will miss him, and I express my deepest sympathy to his family.

It is amazing how important your high school friends were in shaping who you are. As we journey through life we loose touch and always think there will be tomorrow. I will always cherish the memories I have forever and am grateful that you helped make me who I am. May God shower His blessings and comfort on your family.

David was one of my true fiends in High School. I will miss him. My love to all his family, and sympathy to those mourning his loss.

I will not be able to attend the memorial luncheon for David, but if someone would prepare a mexican plate and make the seasoning really hot, I would appreciate it. My memories of spending sleep overs with David and his family when we were kids, was of very tasty food that could start a forrest fire! How he and his mom and dad could eat stuff that spicy, I could never figure out. I have many pictures of David and I when we were young and roaming the streets together. We had good times back in...
