Not sure what to say?

Dear Martha

I can’t believe it’s already been 4 years. I just want you to know that I think of Dave and you often. I have the condolence bookmark from his service over my desk. I catch myself looking at him skiing often. I will always remember his kind smile and looking out my window to see his straw hat wandering busily always brought me comfort. Just know you are both loved. Deb

Little brothers...become men...
The heart swells with sweetness of memory
and sadness of your loss...
My thoughts and prayers are with you
and I wish you peace

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of David. While I have not see or spoken to David since we were kids, I was moved by some of our similarities. I have almost the identical photo of me, possibly with the same goats, taken before 1970. I too am involved with landscape design working as a Landscape Architect for over 30 years. My condolences.

Dear Martha, Please accept our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. A brightness has left the resort but his memory will live on with all the lives Dave has touched with his humor, kindness and wit. I always enjoyed his thirst for books, and his ability to find the humor in awkward situations. He always had a unique way of observing the best part of a bad situation. He made it easy"to never be frightened by being enlightened".

Martha, I'm so very sorry about the loss of your best friend, Dave. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.

Because of Dave so many were blessed with beauty.

Dear Martha- I was so so saddened to hear of Daves passing. There are no words. His zest for life, you, skiing, gardening, kittys, and people was one of a kind. He always took such good care of me. He never baulked at one more plant or bulb-- he just smiled and shook his head. My animals loved to sit with him and watch the action. He always took the time to pet or talk to them. You were very blessed to have had such a kind soul to share your life with. I am so sorry he was taken from you so...

Our family will miss Dave so much! We were all shocked to hear the news. He has been so amazing all these years. Sending all our love to Martha.

David as a kid with his "kids."

When I think of Dave, I can only smile, and I guess that's a great legacy. But what a huge lossa man of many talents and a genuinely good human being. He was my sweet, funny cousin and I loved him dearly. How could one NOT love Dave?

I'll be eating lots of Spaghetti going down the hill Dave!
