Not sure what to say?

It was our joy on Thursday or Friday nights, to go to Steve's to enjoy the most delicious food we could find in Syracuse. Dave was a genius, seasoning his "specials" - the food of the night. He was a wonderful conversationalist too, and we enjoyed his down time, when he would sit and talk with us. We brought many guests to enjoy his food and the ambiance. We miss him very much, and send our condolences to John. Phil and Gayle

We first met Dave at Steve's Cantina while enjoying his authentic Mexican food. We had never tasted food like that before and quickly became regulars at the restaurant. We also enjoyed hearing Dave's music and often ran into him working as the sound guy for several bands. We will truly miss him.

Dave was my first guitar hero. He encouraged me to keep playing, and eventually, working sound with Two Bucks and Change, pulled me from my house to the stage. He let me play a couple of tunes to give their voices a rest. I eventually went on the road, traveling half the country playing. Never thought I would do that, but Dave did. His country bumpkin joy was infectious. My family, as did I, loved him. I have hundreds of stories that all come to mind at this moment. I'm so sad for his...

My sincerest condolences to John and Dave's family. I remember great times many years ago, watching the band rehearsals at his grandmother's barn. Dave was talented, charming and funny.

Dave Walker was the best , whether it involved music or cooking food ! They don´t get much more personable ( & funny !) than Dave Walker . My friend Maggie Young and I ran into Dave often & even now still in disbelief that just like that , he´s gone . Rest in Peace Dave .

Oh,so sorry to hear! Dave was a good, thoughtful friend. He traveled and played with my brother Paul. Two bucks and change was their band. They played in Nashville and performed on TVs You Can Be A Star. California and Colorado on that tour. I spent one summer with Dave at his grandmothers house. We lived off veggies from garden and anything Dave could shoot or catch fishing. He was a good dude, musician, and cook. Think of him often. He will be missed. Praying for David´s children and...

I can't believe you're gone, buddy. Not a day goes by without thinking of you
