Not sure what to say?

The Man had guts!! Lots of guts!! Respect!!

I remember Salt from NASCAR. Wish he could have raced more events.

Rest in peace, Mr. salt Walther. My condolences go out to his family. I met him years ago as a young electrician. Once you met Salt Walther, you don't forget. Definitely a Dayton legend. Go to the Indy 500 every year, but not that year of the accident. Remember seeing a TV special on him back in the 70's, he was in a helicopter. Was quite impressed as a young guy, he had it all. It's sad that he's gone, but he's now finally at peace. God bless

Just Denny

Good Bye Old Friend
You bring back so many memories. I look back to old times. With my dad and Henry Myer and us just kids. I remember when DMBRA just got started, you where there, Indy, you where there.
How about when you just had to have that Rolls Royce. Its was cool. I remember when you just had to help me get that last boat I bought at the Marina fixed and ready for me to enjoy,we just dove in and got it done and we talked about how you were getting back to taking your drivers test...

I wish to express my condolences to Jeff and the family for your loss. I have many memories with Salt, Jeff, Skipp and George. We all shared a love of motorsports and being based in West Carrollton, presented and opportunity to develop relationships. I remember helping move George with friends and the Walther family and having playful times together, afterwards having lunch at Woody's restaurant. My Mom and Dad [now deceased] often told stories of running into George and Salt at Woody's...

Blessed Repose and Eternal Memory

R.I.P. Salt. You have now arrived at the winner's circle in Heaven.

Very sorry to here about Salt. I really liked him and did a few crazy things with him. Also loved to hear the stories he told with that great voice. Since I got back into hydroplane racing I have been proudly using his number (77). He will be sadly missed rest in peace.

Brittany ..your friends at 4H want to you how sorry we are about your Dad. We are here for you.
