God Bless wih peace because of lost a godly man of god

I just learned of Dr. Watermulder's death. His passing is a great loss. My family attended
Bryn Mawr from 1979-1981, before moving to Pittsburgh. We returned to Philadelphia in 1988 and attended Bryn Mawr briefly, but found it was just not the same.

I learned much from Dr. Watermulder about the importance of strong leadership, particularly in a place like Bryn Mawr with so many influential people, and I learned that the work of the church is "important stuff."

One great...

Dear Ruth, David was a giant in my young life; I remember him very well: he confirmed me, he has always been my favorite pastor. He had a mighty message; he truly influenced me. I thank God for his life; I will miss him.
I remember you as well, Ruth, and your young children. Lots of memories from First Presbyterian in Watertown!
So much love to you and your family; God's blessings to you all...

Mrs. Watermulder,

I remember Mr. Watermulder as the Pastor of the First Pres Church in Watertown, NY. I was a boy, but recall his kindness & friendliness. My parents were quite involved in the Church, especially my Mom (Marcia Treadwell). They always spoke well of him.
I wish you all that comforts you, and all that brings peace to your heart.

Mrs. Watermulder, Paul and family, I believe you know what a tremendous impact Dr. Watermulder had on my life. He led me through a very difficult period and was always there for my family and me. I will never forget his strong and caring embrace and words of encouragement. His words of faith and inspiration from the pulpit and in conversation will always be with me. He was an incredibly special and unique person. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We are sorry for Loss of your husband and Father and rest of family

Martha and Family. ..May the Angels of God lift his soul into heaven. I wish you comfort and peace.

He restored to me a passion for Christ's Church. He showed me how a big church works, so it stays intimate and personal. He believed in me and affirmed my call, again and again for 35 years.

Take the sparkle of a diamond, the serenity of a pearl, the strength of steel and the peace of a lily and you have David Watermulder. Rest in peace.
