I am so very saddened to hear about this. I want you know that, although we were not super close (but he knew what I always ordered), he was one of my very favorite people in the world.

My memories of your Dad/Brother are as a small child during our side of the clan's visits back to Birmingham. He was a fun person to be around back then too! It's too bad none of us kinfolk made an effort to get together & remember the "good old days" with each other, our parents, and our children.

I have memories in my pocket.

Your Dad was a fantastic man who became a treasured friend to my family. I loved him dearly and will fondly remember all the good times we shared.

No one person has ever impressed me more than Dave. His remarkable wit, superior intellience and skill for the game of chess was unchallenged, but more over his enduring love lives on because he gave his entire heart and complete devotion to you, his son. Dave loved you more than life itself.

David was a very precious friend to me. We spent many years working together at the Earl. We have shared so many memories . Many very happy ones and many very sad.
